Overview
In this role you will lead the school's academic vision and strategy, shaping curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment, and outcomes. You will work with the Headmaster and Senior Leadership Team to champion scholarship and academic excellence, ensuring pupils are challenged to fulfil their potential within the Catholic mission. The role combines strategic leadership with culture-building to extend opportunities and deepen the school’s impact for young men. This is a faith-driven, high-expectation leadership position at a historic, ambitious school.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the academic vision, curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment and outcomes
- Lead curriculum innovation to secure outstanding academic results
- Collaborate with Headmaster and SLT to promote high standards and a culture of achievement
- Articulate and advance the school's Catholic mission in academic work
- Foster high expectations, curiosity and student development
- Support school-wide initiatives to deepen mission and extend opportunities for pupils
