1 x 12.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 15:00 to 17:30 at St Charles RC Primary School, Regent Farm Road, Gosforth, NE3 3HE. 52 weeks per year.

What we are looking for:

  • We are currently looking for a reliable and friendly person with a positive attitude to join our team as a Cleaning Supervisor.
  • You will be responsible for the supervision of cleaning staff and you will be responsible for the cleaning of an allocated area.
  • You should be reliable and have a strong commitment to high standards of service and customer care, and be flexible and dependable with regard to duties and hours.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a flexible approach to duties, hours and location.
  • Is capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting, carrying of equipment, materials and furniture.
  • Has the ability to communicate well with adults and children, follow instructions and work within guidelines in both written and spoken English.
  • Has experience of promoting and delivering excellent customer service, maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Facility Services and Civic Management work across the city and Gateshead providing building cleaning, caretaking, school meals and welfare catering services. We have a large team of cleaners, cleaner supervisors, facility supervisors (caretakers), catering assistants, assistant chefs and chefs working various hours and shifts in schools and public buildings. Our service is committed to delivering a high standard of service to our customers and in doing so investing in our staff and staff development.
