Newcastle City Council is seeking a Grade 5 Highway Maintenance Engineer to deliver projects that maintain and improve our highway network in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of highway schemes, working individually and in teams to ensure work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
The role offers hybrid working at the Civic Centre and at home, with flexible hours, 25 days annual leave (29 after five years) and participation in the Local Government Pension Scheme.
