City Operations, Neighbourhoods and Regulatory Services Directorate Facility Services & Civic Management 1 x 12.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 15:00 to 17:30 at St Charles RC Primary School, Regent Farm Road, Gosforth, NE3 3HE. 52 weeks per year.
What we are looking for:
- We are currently looking for a reliable and friendly person with a positive attitude to join our team as a Cleaning Supervisor.
- You will be responsible for the supervision of cleaning staff and you will be responsible for the cleaning of an allocated area.
- You should be reliable and have a strong commitment to high standards of service and customer care, and be flexible and dependable with regard to duties and hours.
- We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has a flexible approach to duties, hours and location.
- Is capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting, carrying of equipment, materials and furniture.
- Has the ability to communicate well with adults and children, follow instructions and work within guidelines in both written and spoken English.
- Has experience of promoting and delivering excellent customer service, maintaining positive relationships with clients.

We have a large team of cleaners, cleaner supervisors, facility supervisors (caretakers), catering assistants, assistant chefs and chefs working various hours and shifts in schools and public buildings.
