An exciting opportunity is offered to join the Building Management and Hospitality team in the Civic Centre. We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive person with a passion for customer service. The Civic Centre is at the core of all Council Services and the successful candidates will be providing reception and general administration duties in our award-winning Arches Reception.

Duties include:

  • Greeting a diverse range of visitors to the Civic Centre
  • Supporting and coordinating room bookings for meetings and events
  • Assisting with building related issues
  • Providing general admin support

You should:

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus
  • Be responsive to management requests and instructions
  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to work under your own initiative
  • Have excellent IT skills and a good telephone manner
  • Have the ability to deal with difficult situations in a professional and calm manner
