The Senior IT Risk Oversight Specialist will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of an effective IT Risk Oversight Management framework. Being an expert in the discipline of IT Risk Oversight, you would provide SME support, consultation and oversight to the Technology & Data and Cyber teams to ensure IT risks are appropriately identified, quantified and managed. You will build strong working relationships with stakeholders to understand the IT risk exposure faced and work collaboratively across the wider risk team to ensure effective oversight of broader enterprise and operational risks. The role will provide IT Risk SME consultation and oversight to group and D&T transformational and tactical change projects. The role will support the Head of IT Risk Oversight with planning, engagement, delivery, governance and reporting on IT Risk oversight, at times providing cover and deputising for the Head of IT Risk Oversight.
About You
With experience of working in an IT Risk, Information Security, or Technology Audit role with risk methodology expertise you are expected to be skilled in supporting business areas, providing guidance, education, consultation and challenge around Risk. You should have a demonstrable understanding of Information Security, IT Infrastructure, Systems, Architecture and processes at a technical level, ideally working in a regulated environment, specifically within the Financial Services sector with a good understanding of IT Risk within the second line oversight model. Due to the nature of the role, we require someone to have clear and concise written and spoken communication skills and to possess confidence to challenge effectively at all levels. You are expected to have a relevant qualification such as CRISC and a good understanding of ISO/IEC 27001.
