As our Head of Group Property and Estates, you will guide the vision, strategy and delivery of our full estates portfolio, ensuring that our property footprint supports organisational growth, customer experience and long‑term resilience. You will shape and implement our Estates & Property Services strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals and reflects our purpose‑led culture. You will provide expert leadership across acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations and rent reviews, bringing commercial insight and confident decision‑making to our property portfolio.

Alongside this, you will set policies, standards and governance frameworks that empower our Property Services teams while maintaining clear senior oversight of operational delivery. Collaboration will be central to your success, as you build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, legal advisors, agents, contractors and external partners. You will maintain accountability for property risk, regulatory compliance, business continuity and security, ensuring our estate operates safely, efficiently and in line with all relevant legislation.

You will also play a meaningful role in shaping the future capability of the property function, leading, developing and supporting a high performing team while ensuring strong financial stewardship across both capital and operational budgets. Sustainability, inclusive design and ESG considerations will feature strongly in your approach as you help the organisation create environments that reflect care, responsibility and long‑term value.

About You

You’ll bring a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise and people leadership. You’re someone who enjoys solving problems, guiding others and shaping environments that work well for everyone. To thrive here, you will have:

  • RICS Chartered Surveyor status
  • Strong senior level experience managing multisite estates or property operations.
  • A track record of delivering complex development, refurbishment or optimisation projects.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, health & safety, operational risk and business continuity.
  • Confidence in lease negotiations, acquisitions/disposals and commercial property management.
  • Experience leading teams, shaping culture and building capability.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
