Our New Generations Graduate Programme is designed for ambitious graduates who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful work. This is more than just a graduate scheme. It's an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build valuable skills, and develop a rewarding career within a leading financial services organisation.
As an NSSL Graduate, you'll gain unique insight into how a large-scale financial services operation delivers exceptional outcomes for clients and customers every day. From the outset, you'll be involved in real business challenges, working alongside experienced colleagues across a variety of functions. You'll discover how operations, technology, data, change, governance, learning, and customer experience come together to drive business success.
Throughout the programme, you'll:
- Gain hands-on experience working on live business projects and strategic initiatives.
- Develop a broad understanding of customer operations, savings, and client delivery.
- Help drive improvements that enhance customer and colleague experiences.
- Use data and insight to support decision-making and identify opportunities for change.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation and build a strong professional network.
- Develop valuable skills in stakeholder management, problem solving, communication, and project delivery.

You'll be supported every step of the way by experienced leaders, mentors, and colleagues who are genuinely invested in your development. The programme offers broad exposure to the business, helping you build both commercial awareness and practical experience in a supportive environment.
By the end of the programme, you'll have developed a strong understanding of financial services, operational excellence, and how businesses create value for customers. Most importantly, you'll have laid the foundations for a successful long-term career, with opportunities to progress into permanent roles across the organisation.
To be eligible, you’ll need to:
- Have a 2:1 degree or above in a relevant subject completed in the last 3 years, for example: Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or Business Studies.
- Be available to start on 5th October.
- Be able to commute to our Cobalt Head Office (near Newcastle upon Tyne) on a daily basis.
- Be available to attend interviews during the week commencing 14th September.
