About the Role
This is a 6 month fixed term contract to join our Financial Close Team. Reporting in the Financial Close Manager, you\\\’ll support in the delivery of a successful month end financial close. You\\\’ll deliver a high level of customer service through the preparation and analysis of reconciliations, consolidations and other key financial close activities, whilst providing timely and insightful information to stakeholders, notably the senior finance leadership team. You\\\’ll build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to collate and understand month end close requirements, alongside partnering with Group Finance teams and the wider business to get line of sight on business performance. The preparation of ad-hoc financial reports for the Group will be a key element of the role, as will leading Finance Operations representation with our internal and external audit teams, acting as a conduit for requests and resolving outstanding actions across the team. Although there\\\’s no direct line management responsibilities within the role, you\\\’ll support the Financial Close Manager in supervising and develop the Groups Financial Close team.
About You
You\\\’ll either be a qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA accountant, actively finalising a qualification or have commensurate experience. Strong financial accounting experience which includes the preparation of financial statements and month-end close processes is key for the role, as is experience with internal and external audit support and Group consolidations. You\\\’ll have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyse complex financial information and identify trends and issues.
