About the Role
As Director of Commercial, Product & Place, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a purpose-led commercial strategy that drives sustainable growth and deepens member value. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the development of a scalable model that aligns product, pricing, distribution and place-based delivery to meet evolving member and community needs. This is a highly strategic leadership role, responsible for end-to-end ownership of mortgages and savings propositions across their full lifecycle – from design and pricing through to performance and optimisation. You’ll ensure our products remain competitive, deliver fair value, and support positive customer outcomes.
Working across Product, Commercial and Place, you will bring together cross-functional teams to create innovative, member-centric propositions that reflect local market dynamics and regional priorities. You will embed a disciplined, insight-led approach to commercial decision-making, enabling stronger segmentation, pricing capability and portfolio performance.

You will be a strategic commercial leader with a strong track record of delivering growth through customer-focused product and proposition development. You bring deep expertise in product, pricing and portfolio management, alongside the ability to translate insight into clear, actionable strategy.
