The Executive, Information Technology is responsible for the day-to-day technical operations, focusing on providing comprehensive IT and desktop support for hardware and software to ensure operational continuity for staff and students. The role involves assisting in the successful implementation of IT projects through technical execution and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring that projects meet institutional goals and security standards. Additionally, the incumbent contributes to simple application development and the maintenance of information repositories to enhance internal data management and reporting processes. All activities are conducted in alignment with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and University policies to maintain a secure and compliant digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems and software.
  • Provide installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop, laptop, network appliances and software.
  • Perform user account management and prepare laptop or desktop for new staff.
  • Provide application and infrastructure technical support to all staff and students.
  • Develop simple applications and power automate workflows using Power App and Power Automate.
  • Co-ordinate with multiple vendors to ensure that various systems with dependencies are implemented at the same time or in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the IT asset management system to ensure all inventory records are consistently accurate, up-to-date, and reflect the real-time status of hardware and software.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the organization’s data and systems.
  • Ensure all servers and laptops in our office have up-to-date anti-virus software installed.
  • Perform end-user daily data and network backup.
  • Perform documentation on IT procedures, checklists, system and network configuration.

Requirement

  • Diploma / Degree in Information Technology with at least one to two years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with the education industry is a plus.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to participate in a team environment demonstrating clear communication and mutual respect.
