Estates Assistant – Leek College

Hours: 37 hours a week – Monday to Friday plus scheduled on call weekend work

Salary: £25,844 per annum (plus on-call allowance £2,144 per annum)

The group is currently home to a population of over 6,500 full-time students with around 2,000 adult learners and students on higher education programmes. We have over 1,500 apprentices where we work with over 850 individual employers. Our Sixth Form provision has a reputation for high academic achievement and excellence.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self- motivated and hardworking individual to join our successful team. Working at Leek College, duties include ensuring that the accommodation and its grounds and building services remain in good order and provide a safe, comfortable and attractive environment which meets the needs and expectations of all users.

To be successful, you will have previous experience in a similar or related role. You will be someone who takes a pride in maintaining high standards both in the appearance and efficiency of the site and will have a positive attitude to providing an excellent service to the building users as well as being reasonably confident in using IT.

Flexibility will be required over working hours to cover evening and weekends. You must be willing to be called out from time to time to respond to any emergencies at the premises.
