Salary: £32,136 - £42,848 per annum
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess on courses including the BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Travel and Tourism and the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma’s in Travel
- Play an active role in the marketing of the College and the Department through activities such as open days and liaison with local employers and schools
- Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, developing and preparing flexible learning materials
Qualifications
- Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE (PCET) or equivalent) or willingness to train for one
- Experience teaching on Travel and Tourism courses
- Ideally experience within the FE sector
- Understanding of the travel, hospitality and/or events management industry
