We are looking for an enthusiastic, suitably qualified individual with relevant experience to teach level 1, 2 and 3 vocational courses, apprenticeships and run a fully operational training restaurant.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment on level one culinary and front‑of‑house catering and hospitality programmes.
  • Play an active role in the marketing of the College and the Department through open days and liaison with local employers and schools.
  • Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting up and developing flexible learning materials.
  • Support the exciting and successful range of culinary competitions that the department participates in.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS).
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • Relevant teaching and employment experience within Catering/Hospitality up to level 3.
  • Organised and able to manage varied workload peaks and troughs.
  • Experience delivering dynamic and interactive remote learning via online platforms such as MS Teams and Zoom.
