Location: Stafford College

Employment type: Permanent – 12 hours per week (Term Time Only, 39 weeks)

Salary: £25,322 pro rata (£7,186 actual) per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to support the day‑to‑day running of the Finance Office and financial systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an active member of a busy and innovative Finance team.
  • Reconcile cash, smartcards and PDQ payments.
  • Prepare daily banking and associated records.
  • Ensure cash is deposited promptly and no unnecessary cash is held on site.
  • Administer the petty cash process, monitor cash floats and ensure all cash handling procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a finance environment with cash handling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel).
