Role Summary
Lecturer in Business – deliver high quality teaching across the department’s portfolio, including BTEC Level 2, Level 3, Extended Diploma and T‑Level programmes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, innovative teaching and assessment across Business units such as finance, branding, visual merchandising, team building and other core subjects.
- Prepare, mark and grade examinations and coursework, and maintain accurate student records.
- Develop flexible learning materials and support learners to reach their potential.
- Participate in marketing activities, such as open days and outreach to local employers and schools.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote continuous improvement and reflect on practice.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Teaching qualification appropriate to the FE sector, with support provided if required.
- Relevant teaching experience at Business Level 3 Extended Diploma within the FE sector is desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of law and legal services in business is advantageous.
