Location: Newcastle College Site
We are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified lecturer to teach on our outstanding business courses at Newcastle College. The role involves delivering a varied and imaginative curriculum and supporting learners to reach their potential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality teaching on Business across the full range of the department’s provision, using remote and face‑to‑face delivery as appropriate.
- Play an active role in marketing the College and the Department through events such as open days and liaison with local employers and schools.
- Prepare, mark and assess student work, monitor progress, set and mark examination papers, and develop flexible learning materials.
Required Skills & Experience
- Holds a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- Has an appropriate teaching qualification; support will be provided if required.
- Ideally has teaching experience of T‑Level Business and Level 2/3 vocational business offers within the FE sector.
- Is an effective communicator with good organisational skills.
