Full and Part Time Positions Available

Salary: £32,136 - £42,848 depending on experience and qualifications

Location: Newcastle College Site

We are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified lecturer to teach on our outstanding business courses at Newcastle College. The role involves delivering a varied and imaginative curriculum and supporting learners to reach their potential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality teaching on Business across the full range of the department’s provision, using remote and face‑to‑face delivery as appropriate.
  • Play an active role in marketing the College and the Department through events such as open days and liaison with local employers and schools.
  • Prepare, mark and assess student work, monitor progress, set and mark examination papers, and develop flexible learning materials.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Holds a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • Has an appropriate teaching qualification; support will be provided if required.
  • Ideally has teaching experience of T‑Level Business and Level 2/3 vocational business offers within the FE sector.
  • Is an effective communicator with good organisational skills.
