We’re a family run dental practice operating a mainly private dental practice with 7 surgeries. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working together in the best interest of the patients, and collectively as a team. We have a team of receptionists that ensures your book is kept exactly how you like it, with them working hard to secure those private consults as well as routine treatments. Newby is a high end dental practice, operating from a custom built stone cottage, recently renovated in 2019 and then further extended to cope with demand in 2024 . All our dental surgeries are based around the same layout with superior dental chairs installed, complete with fibre optics, electric micro motors and intraoral cameras as standard. We have a CBCT/OPG Machine and a Trios Intra Oral scanner of which you’ll have full access to and training if required. Air conditioning is fitted to all surgeries along with large screens which link to the pc so you can present patients digital x-rays and treatment plans. Separate heating controls per surgery, for improved and personalised working conditions with the ground floor under floor heated.
We have multiple trained Treatment Co-ordinators, to provide a quality triage and booking system. Our TCOs also have radiology, IO impression, and clinical photograph training, to complete OPG/CBCT, IO scans and clinical photos where required, to reduce workload in surgery. Full hygienist and therapist support is paramount, and ensures again that surgery time is protected. There would be access to a wide selection of dental materials, including those that you normally use and are comfortable with.
We are a complete digital practice, not just for the clinical work flow and communication with the labs, but for all aspects of patient care. This starts from registration with patient portals, online booking to treatment plan and consent documentation though use of surgery clini pads.
We have a dedicated conference room, for training session, which we complete as a team on a regular basis. We also have a large staff room, where staff can socialise and relax, but also discuss cases and chat through complex situations. We are a really sociable practice, and have lots of social events, not just in house lunches but evening and weekend events too.
There are 7 dentists working within the practice, who all have special interests ranging from Dental Implants, Invisalign, Oral Surgery, Sedation, Composite Bonding and Dentures. But this doesn’t mean you have to refer in house if you enjoy doing those treatments! In fact, if there’s something that you have a special interest in, the practice will support this with organising a referral system, and ensure investment in equipment in order to help you carry these treatments out. We’re also proud to be the only Denplan Excel accredited dental practice in the area.
We’re located in Scarborough, Yorkshire, however if you’re based in York, Driffield, Malton, Beverly, or considering relocation there, it’s probably worth speaking to us as we’re not too far away from these locations.
