A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics/automation company as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailer's state-of-the-art highly automated distribution centre in Warrington. Seeking either electrically or mechanically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the large engineering team.
Benefits
- Salary of c£55k
- 3 on 3 off shift pattern (12 hour days and nights) (6-6)
- 24 shifts per year holiday
- 6% match Pension
- Bonus and Share schemes (c£4k annually after qualifying period)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on engineering to support the logistics system running smoothly
- Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
- Keep maintenance records up to date using CMMS system
- Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
- Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Requirements Of Maintenance Engineer
- Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications
- Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7
- Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential
- Happy to work a shift pattern with days and nights
- Ok to work at heights when needed (via harnesses and full training etc)
