About the role:
As our Hairdressing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our busy commercial salon, creating a professional environment where students can develop their practical skills, confidence and industry knowledge. Working closely with curriculum staff, you will help manage salon bookings, customer enquiries, stock and equipment, while ensuring excellent standards of customer service, health and safety, and salon presentation are maintained. You will also support and guide students during commercial salon sessions, helping them gain valuable real-world experience while working towards their qualifications. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with salon experience who enjoys working with people and is passionate about helping the next generation of hairdressing professionals succeed.

Criteria:
Essential criteria:- Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing or a related subject, or significant industry experience.
- Experience working within a commercial salon environment and supporting or supervising others.
- Strong customer service, organisational and communication skills.
- A Customer Service or Assessor qualification.
- Experience of working with young people aged 16-19.
- Experience managing budgets, stock or salon operations.
