About the role:
We are excited to offer this opportunity for a creative, inspiring and dedicated Art & Design Lecturer and Course Leader to join our team. As an Art & Design Lecturer and Course Leader, you will play a key role in delivering an engaging and innovative curriculum that inspires students to develop their creativity, technical skills and artistic confidence. Working across a range of Art and Design disciplines, you will help learners explore new ideas, experiment with different media and build the skills required for progression into higher education or employment within the creative industries.
Alongside teaching, you will lead and coordinate the curriculum area, ensuring programmes meet awarding body requirements and maintain high standards of quality. You will monitor student progress, oversee assessment and verification processes, maintain course documentation and work closely with colleagues, employers and external partners to provide an outstanding learning experience. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of aspiring artists and designers, contribute to curriculum development and support the continued growth of a vibrant and successful Art & Design provision.

- Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Teaching experience in Art & Design
- Strong communication and organisational skills
