Curriculum Manager - Engineering and Motor Vehicle

  • 💰Salary: £40,000 plus the potential to add up to a £5,000 market premium
  • 🕒Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year
  • 🕒Working Pattern: Monday - Friday / 9:00 - 17:00

Do you have the skills and expertise to lead a team of dedicated lecturers in our engineering and motor vehicle department?

We are excited to offer this opportunity for a strategic, focused and driven curriculum manager to join our team.

You will be a qualified teacher with a degree and/or extensive experience in the subject specialism of Engineering and Motor Vehicle. It would be ideal if you have a mentoring and assessor qualifications to further support the successful delivery of the curriculum. Your experience in FE management and curriculum development will enable you to inspire and ensure high quality teaching within your area.

Within our Engineering and Motor Vehicle curriculum area, we offer a combination of full-time FE students and apprentices, and provide HE up to degree level in Engineering, including Higher Apprenticeships. We have strong relationships with our local employers and are proud to deliver learning within our fabulous facilities, which include our motor vehicle and engineering workshops.

Your key areas of responsibility will be;

  • 📘 Work closely with the Head of Faculty to develop curriculum in consultation with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • 👥 Work with the Course Leaders to ensure there are good standards of behaviour and personal development across the curriculum area.
  • 💻 Be the lead teaching, learning and digital champion for the curriculum area by leading course development, including the application of digital and use of learning technology systems and tools.
