Due to the retirement of a long‑standing GP after more than 30 years, there is a rare opportunity to join a friendly, well‑established team at Newbold Surgery.
The practice serves approximately 12,400 patients and is committed to high‑quality, patient‑centred care while evolving to improve access, sustainability and staff well‑being.

Main Duties of the Job
- Assessment, diagnosis, treatment and onward referral of patients
- Managing a defined patient list
- Participation in core hours, duty/on‑call rota, and extended access

- Job Responsibilities
- 13 appointments (10‑minute slots) plus emergency overspills per session
- Own blood results, lab links and a fair share of any GPs who are on holiday
- Own workflows and a fair share of any GPs who are on holiday
- Fair share absent GP prescriptions
- Referral letters
- Telephone consultations
- Fair share of home visits
- On‑call/duty doctor WTE 1 per week (occasionally 2 per week)
- Extended surgery WTE 1 per week
- Manage a patient list as the usual GP for a caseload of patients with associated paperwork
