Painter and Sprayers, Neway – North West, Wirral / Cheshire
We are looking for experienced Industrial Painters and Sprayers with ICATS or TTP qualifications to join our teams working on high-profile shutdowns, maintenance, and fabrication projects.
We have earned a reputation for completing the most challenging industrial service contracts and we continue to grow providing long term stability for our growing team.

So as a Painter and Sprayer at Neway, what will you do?
- You’ll prepare and apply protective coatings following specifications and surface preparation standards
- In Industrial environments you will carry out brush, roller, and airless spray applications
- To fully understand the expectation you’ll interpret job packs, data sheets, and technical drawings
- You’ll ensure quality control through accurate DFT (dry film thickness) and WFT (wet film thickness) checks
- Working often in confined spaces, at height, or in hazardous environments you’ll follow strict safety standards
- You will complete all documentation and daily reports required
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations you’ll contribute to our strong site safety culture
And what are we looking for?
- Valid ICATS or TTP certification (Silver, Gold, or Sprayer level)
- CCNSG Safety Passport or valid CSCS Card
- Confined Space – High Risk Entry Certification (with full breathing apparatus use)
- Proven experience in industrial painting and spraying within heavy industry
- Ability to follow specifications and apply coatings to required standards
- The ability to read and follow technical specifications and job packs
- Flexibility to travel and work on different client sites across the UK
It will be great if you also have:
- PASMA, IPAF, or Working at Height certification
- Familiarity with coating specifications
- Experience on COMAH or major infrastructure sites
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes and inspection criteria
