To support our surface preparation and coatings work on major UK shutdowns and maintenance project, we are looking for more skilled Industrial Blasters.

So as an Industrial Blaster at Neway, what will you do?

  • You\’ll carry out abrasive blasting and surface preparation to a high standard working with our method statements and technical specifications
  • Preparing surfaces for coating applications you\’ll often be in confined spaces, at height, or in demanding industrial environments
  • You will operate blasting equipment safely and effectively following our procedures
  • You\’ll maintain cleanliness, equipment condition, and make sure that your job records are accurate and up to date at all times
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations you\’ll contribute to our strong site safety culture

And what are we looking for?

  • ICATS or TTP certification
  • Confined Space – High Risk Entry Certification (with full breathing apparatus use)
  • CCNSG Safety Passport or CSCS Card
  • Experience as an industrial blaster in heavy industrial sectors
  • The ability to read and follow technical specifications and job packs
  • Flexibility to travel and work on different client sites across the UK

It will be great if you also have:

  • PASMA, IPAF, or Working at Height certification
  • Working at Height / Harness Training
  • Experience on COMAH sites
  • Familiarity with paint / coating systems and inspection standards (e.g. NACE, ICorr)
