Achieving for Children is seeking a committed Senior Social Worker to join the Support and Safeguarding Team in Windsor & Maidenhead. This is a frontline role within Social Care & Health Qualified, providing vital support to children, young people, and families.
You will play a key role in safeguarding, assessment, and intervention, ensuring that children are protected and families receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake assessments and provide direct support to children, young people, and families
- Manage complex safeguarding cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver effective interventions
- Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely reporting
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation, statutory frameworks, and best practice
- Experience managing complex cases within children\'s social care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and work effectively under pressure
