FULL TIME ONGOING OPPORTUNITY!! Food Production Jobs – Immediate Start – Bury St Edmunds (IP28). We’re hiring Production, Curing, and Despatch Operatives to join a busy, modern bacon factory near Bury St Edmunds (IP28). Training is provided – all you need is a good attitude and the willingness to work.

Job Details
Location: Near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk – IP28
Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing work with potential for permanent roles
Start Date: Immediate
Shifts:
- AM: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30
- PM: Monday to Friday, 14:30 – 23:00
(Guaranteed 40 hours/week – no rotation between shifts)
Pay Rates
- Food Production Operative: from £12.36/hour basic | £18.54/hour overtime
- Curing Operative: £12.89/hour basic | £19.34/hour overtime
- Despatch Operative: £13.31/hour basic | £19.97/hour overtime
What You’ll Be Doing
- Production Department: Slicing, packing, labelling and quality-checking bacon products; keeping work areas clean and organised; following food hygiene and safety standards
- Curing Department: Handling and preparing large cuts of meat for curing; hanging and salting products; using curing equipment and machinery; heavy lifting involved
- Despatch Department: Packing and wrapping finished products; preparing pallets for delivery; working in chilled conditions; manual handling of goods
Requirements
- No previous experience required – full training provided
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Reliable, punctual and a team player
- Able to commit to full-time hours
- Own transport essential (site not accessible by public transport)
