This requirement is for a locum Occupational Therapist to cover a substantive OT role within the AFCS team. The postholder will be acting up to the vacant AFCS Assistant Team Manager position until permanent recruitment is completed.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions, supporting complex casework, and contributing to service development within the team.
Key Responsibilities- Complete functional assessments and deliver evidence-based OT interventions
- Support adults with complex needs to maximise independence and safety
- Provide professional oversight and contribute to team leadership while acting up
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues and external partners
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case records
- Contribute to safeguarding processes and risk management
- Support service delivery in line with statutory requirements and local policies
- Minimum Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent (Essential)
- Two years post-qualification experience (Essential)
- Previous experience within a social services setting (Preferred)
