Kitchen Porter Supervisor

We are currently recruiting a Kitchen Porter Supervisor for a busy hotel kitchen in Wembley. This is a full‑time, ongoing role for the right candidate, working on a rota basis. You will be responsible for supervising the kitchen porter team and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation are maintained at all times.

As Kitchen Porter Supervisor, you will work closely with the kitchen management team to keep the back‑of‑house running smoothly. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for someone with previous kitchen porter experience who is ready to take on more responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the kitchen porter team during shifts.
• Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to hotel and food safety standards.
• Organise daily tasks and rotas for kitchen porters.
• Monitor stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff when needed, especially during busy periods.
• Ensure health and safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a kitchen porter is essential.
• Experience in a supervisory or senior kitchen porter role is preferred.
• Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Ability to lead a team and stay organised under pressure.
• Flexibility to work a rota, including weekends.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work full time.
