Neway is seeking a School Cleaner to be based at Gwaunmeisgyn Primary School, Rhondda Cynon Taf. 10 hours/week | Monday–Friday, 15:30–17:30. Start Date: 08 September 2025 | End Date: 31 October 2025. Pay: £12.21 PAYE / £15.95 Umbrella.
Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils and staff at Gwaunmeisgyn Primary School.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising designated areas such as classrooms, corridors, toilets, staff rooms, and sports/changing facilities
- Hoovering, mopping, swiffing, and wiping down surfaces including desks, shelves, skirting boards, and window sills
- Emptying waste bins throughout the building
- Using a scrubber dryer machine (where provided)
- Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high hygiene standards
Requirements / Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and materials
- Clean and tidy appearance
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and independently
