Location: Town Hall, Windsor & Maidenhead
Contract Type: Agency Worker
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00

Achieving for Children is seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Windsor & Maidenhead. This is a vital frontline role where you will be responsible for screening, assessing, and prioritising safeguarding concerns for children and families, working closely with partner agencies to ensure timely and effective decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake high‑quality screening and triage of referrals within the MASH service
- Work collaboratively with police, health, education, and other safeguarding partners
- Analyse information to determine risk levels and required interventions
- Ensure all decisions are recorded clearly and in line with statutory guidance
- Contribute to a fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary environment focused on child protection
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Experience within MASH, safeguarding, or frontline children's services
- Strong analytical, communication, and multi‑agency working skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high‑volume caseloads
Standard compliance documents required: CV, 5‑year references, RTW, ID, Criminal Convictions Declaration, DfE declarations.
This role does not require entry into a CQC‑registered setting. This is a temporary assignment covering maternity/paternity leave.
