About the Role
Bromley Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead the Referral & Assessment Service within Children’s Social Care. This is a fast‑paced frontline role requiring strong leadership, oversight of complex cases, and the ability to drive high‑quality, timely decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Referral & Assessment team
- Oversee high‑risk and complex safeguarding referrals
- Ensure timely decision‑making and effective case allocation
- Provide reflective supervision and support to social workers
- Maintain high standards of practice and compliance
- Work closely with partners to ensure coordinated responses
- Support service performance, quality assurance and improvement activity
What You’ll Need
- Qualified Social Worker (SWE registered)
