The RoleThis role sits within the Litigation and Public Law Team, providing specialist legal expertise across complex possession, housing judicial review, access matters and anti‐social behaviour injunctions. The successful candidate will manage a challenging caseload, deliver high‐quality legal advice, undertake advocacy and support the wider Legal Services team in delivering an efficient, cost‐effective service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice, draft documents and conduct litigation across complex possession, homelessness, anti‐social behaviour and injunction matters.
Undertake advocacy, particularly within County Court proceedings.
Manage a varied and demanding caseload with support from Senior Lawyers, legal officers and paralegals.
Contribute to the operational effectiveness of the Legal Services team.
Support work across other legal areas where competent and required.
Ensure high‐quality, timely and solution‐focused legal service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified solicitor, barrister or FILEX with at least one year\'s post‐qualification experience.
Experience in complex possession, judicial review or injunction work.
Willingness to undertake advocacy in the County Court.
Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
Proficiency in office software and case management systems.
Ability to work confidently and accurately in a public‐facing role requiring fluent English.
