Southwark Council is recruiting 7 Cleaning Operatives to support increased seasonal demand across the borough. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who take pride in keeping public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:- Leaf clearing and street sweeping across designated areas
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Maintaining cleanliness standards in public spaces
- Operating manual tools and equipment safely
- Supporting the wider Waste & Cleansing team as needed
Hours: 36 per week, with potential shifts Monday–Saturday
Duration: 6 weeks
About You:- Are physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work
- Can work independently and as part of a team
