About the Role

Neway are looking for a Family Support Worker to join our client based with Cardiff Council.

Location: County Hall, Cardiff Council

Contract Dates: 10 November 2025 – 9 February 2026

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours/week (Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:00)

Pay: £14.59/hr PAYE | £18.92/hr Umbrella

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting families with children identified as in need
• Promoting child health, development, and wellbeing
• Enhancing parenting skills and confidence
• Working both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Delivering flexible, responsive support tailored to family needs

What We’re Looking For

• ✅ Experience working with children, young people, and families
• ✅ Strong organisational skills and self-motivation
• ✅ Ability to work flexibly and adaptively
• ✅ Full UK driving licence and sole use of a vehicle
