Join the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society. We are looking for a creative, organised, and proactive Marketing and Communications Officer to help raise the profile of the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society and support the promotion of our events, charitable activities, and wider work across the rural sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong marketing skills to work across a varied portfolio, including major events such as the Nottinghamshire County Show, the Midlands Machinery Show, and the Newark Vintage Tractor and Heritage Show, alongside education and charitable initiatives that celebrate and support agriculture in the region.

About the Role

In this role, you will plan and deliver marketing and communications activity across digital and print channels, helping to grow audiences, increase engagement, and support membership, sponsorship, and event participation. You will create campaigns, manage website content, produce email communications, support social media activity, coordinate design and print projects, and help ensure our communications are clear, engaging, and aligned with our objectives. The role also offers the chance to contribute to educational programmes and charitable initiatives that make a positive impact across the county.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering marketing campaigns for events, membership activity, and charitable programmes
  • Creating content for websites, email marketing, social media, advertising, and print materials
  • Working with internal colleagues and external suppliers to deliver effective, high‑quality communications
  • Monitoring campaign performance and using insight to improve future activity
  • Supporting the successful promotion and delivery of key events throughout the year
