Your role will involve:
- Managing a range of tenancy duties including creation, enforcement, and sustainability.
- Serving as the primary liaison between tenants and the Council.
- Addressing breaches of tenancy and collaborating with Senior Housing Officers on resolutions.
- Assisting tenants in maintaining their tenancies.
- Taking enforcement action where it is unavoidable.
- Encouraging tenant involvement in engagement activities to amplify their voices.
- Building relationships with partner agencies to connect tenants with essential services.
What are we looking for in successful candidates?
- Proven experience in social housing.
- A relevant level 4 qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of current housing issues and legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Effective organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Effective conflict management skills.
- The ability to provide a high level of customer care.
Due to the nature of the role, you must also have access to a vehicle to enable you to travel around the district.
