The Environmental Services team are looking for a Street Cleansing Operative. You will assist in providing a cleaner environment to all residents and visitors to Newark and Sherwood through the provision of a high quality and high performing street cleansing service. Operatives are expected to work a variety of shifts as directed. This is a physically demanding post β tasks undertaken will include emptying wheeled and litter bins, lifting and carrying awkward and heavy weights (using correct manual handling techniques i.e. twisting, bending etc.) and walking long distances. A driving licence is essential.

Working Hours:
- Mon- Thurs 6.30 β 2.30 / late shift 10am -6 pm
- Friday 6.30 2.00 / late shift 10-5.30
- Sat -Sun 6.30-2.30 late shift 10.00-6.00
