Summary
Environmental Health Officer – Permanent, full time (37 hours per week). Focus on food hygiene, health and safety, as well as environmental health licensing to protect public health and animal welfare.
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality service to the public and the business community.
- Inspect premises to ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards.
- Carry out environmental health licensing and related regulatory work.
- Respond to complaints and enquiries regarding environmental health matters.
- Maintain accurate records and report on relevant health and safety outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong enthusiasm for Environmental Health and related fields.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Preferable recent graduates or soon-to-graduate candidates seeking broad experience.
- Relevant qualifications or experience in food hygiene, health and safety, or environmental health licensing enhances your application.
