Permanent full‑time position based at the Richmond Health Hub.

About the Role

Our payroll team is responsible for end‑to‑end processing payroll for just over 3,000 employees across Nelson and Marlborough, from Murchison to Blenheim. We use a fully integrated roster‑to‑pay system to support large and complex payroll service and provide a quality payroll service to our colleagues. The role requires working 80 hours per fortnight (1FTE, Monday‑Friday, 7:00AM to 4:30PM).

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for the Nelson and Marlborough region.
  • Maintain and update payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the use of payroll/HRIS applications and roster‑to‑pay systems.
  • Engage with employees to support skills development around new technology.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and foster teamwork.
