TopmaQ imports a wide range of consumer products which are sold through its retail stores and online. The successful applicant will be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching goods for courier and bulk transport, using fully electric Jungheinrich 3-wheel forklifts, man-up order pickers, and man-up turret trucks. There may be a requirement to assist with occasional container devanning. The candidate must ensure that work areas are kept clean and tidy.
Picking and dispatching accuracy are paramount.
Possessing a current forklift license is a requirement.
TopmaQ requires all successful candidates to complete a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test, a Ministry of Justice background check, and an ACC check.
The successful applicant, reporting to the TopmaQ Christchurch Warehouse Manager, will receive training in the computer and warehouse management systems used by the company.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with a rostered Saturday shift (currently 9 am – 1 pm), approximately 1-2 Saturdays per month.
