The role:
Employed as a Service Centre Assistant, completing varied manual tasks around our Service Centre
Tasks include reconditioning wooden pallets (working with power tools to repair and replace damaged boards), washing large plastic bins or working on our crate wash line (unfolding plastic crates, overseeing the machine wash process and folding the crates for reuse)
Ensuring safety systems and practices are adhered to so that a safe working environment is maintained
Working towards volume production targets, while ensuring quality standards are at a high level
A position where you can see your outputs and feel a sense of achievement each shift
Afternoon shift, starting at 2 pm each day
Full time guaranteed 40 hours per week

Our requirements:
A strong commitment to safety
Availability to work 40 hours per week, hours will be worked Monday to Friday, from 2 pm through to midnight.
Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role (you will be working on your feet all shift)
Previous experience working with power tools and undertaking basic carpentry duties, or general production environment experience
A strong work ethic and understanding of working to production targets, adhering to both safety and quality requirements
Willing to complete and able to pass a Ministry of Justice criminal history check, ACC injury history check and a pre employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
Full NZ drivers licence and reliable transport to get yourself to and from the workplace
NZ Citizenship or an NZ resident work visa, unfortunately we are not able to assist with Immigration sponsorship at this time.
