Hours: Full‑time (open to part‑time, 0.5–0.8 FTE) with flexible arrangement.

Salary: £26,000–£33,000.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Christian with a passion for reaching out to and discipling children and young people. The successful candidate will help All Saints and St Andrews in the fulfilment of our mission statement ‘Knowing Jesus and making him known in our community and beyond’. In partnership with clergy, PCC and volunteers, through prayer and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, the successful candidate will lead, develop and support current and new activities with children and young people in the church, schools, and local community.

All Saints and St Andrew’s is a welcoming, charismatic, evangelical Anglican church (one church with two buildings) in the large Parish of Huntington, Earswick and New Earswick, a suburb in the north of York.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop and support current and new activities with children and young people.
  • Work with clergy, PCC and volunteers to meet the needs of the community.
  • Engage with churches, schools and local community.
Qualifications
  • Committed Christian (Equality Act 2010).
  • Valid ‘Right to Work’ permit for the UK (Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act, 2006).
  • Subject to Enhanced DBS disclosure.
