Come and join our pioneering team at this exciting time of growth as we work with our communities to expand work in Pinehurst and Parks & Walcot, Swindon. Can you bring your energy, experience, ideas and skill to help us really shape the future here?
This is an exciting and innovative role for a highly motivated, experienced individual to join our creative and growing organisation. The Operations Manager will support leaders, workers and volunteers with logistical planning, operational organisation and project planning and delivery across a cluster of two parish areas that are part of the Diocese of Bristol Priority Communities Network (PCN) in Swindon (Pinehurst, and Parks & Walcot).
As Operations Manager you’ll collaborate with clergy and church officers to help enable the smooth running of both churches and their activities in the communities they serve. With duties across operations, finance, HR, buildings and communications you’ll be a central enabler in all that we do. You’ll work alongside clergy, leaders, church workers such as youth and children’s workers and numerous volunteers to ensure that everyone is supported and equipped to play their part in our mission.
The Diocese of Bristol is committed to being a fair, respectful, and inclusive organisation. We believe that diversity enriches us and are dedicated to the promotion of equality where all are able to flourish. Disabled people and those of global majority heritage are currently under-represented in our Diocese so we welcome applications from clergy in these groups.
