A new, specialised role to lead, develop, and advance our musical worship ministry at associated areas. This role will in part replace the previous Youth & Worship Leader role. The Worship Leader will work with the Vicar and other team members to develop all areas of this ministry, be the key person responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the ministry, and ensure our worship team is given every opportunity to grow. The successful applicant will play a significant role in shaping our worship ministry across all aspects of church life.

  • They will be an encourager who cares for others, be prayerful, humble, and willing to learn professionally and personally.
  • The role requires someone who can build and work creatively in teams, building trust whilst contributing constructively.
  • They must be flexible and able to see their role within the wider mission and ministry of the church.
  • We expect them to offer their own ideas, skills, and experience.
  • Their faith in Jesus should be demonstrated through lifestyle and appropriate spiritual disciplines, including daily prayer and personal Bible study.
  • We would expect the successful candidate to oversee and develop teams, allowing others to grow in leadership and build skills.
