Description of Job: Project Support Officer

Provision of project management support for projects across the Diocese underpinning the Diocesan Vision for Growing Disciples: Wider, Younger and Deeper. This role involves providing project administration and reporting support across a range of projects throughout the diocese.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Documentation Management: Assist in the production and maintenance of project plans, risk registers, issue logs, and other project-related documents. Follow up on outstanding project actions in a timely fashion. Keep all project folders in the shared area up to date and assist in maintaining effective and efficient filing structures.
  • Project Reporting: Coordinate the production of project reporting on a regular basis. Monitor the completion of project reports. Consolidate submissions from projects to prepare Programme Board and any other project reporting.
  • Project Meeting Management: Schedule all project meetings, set up IT, and manage attendance. Prepare agendas, create meeting packs where required, write minutes, and track meeting actions. Respond rapidly to diary changes where required.
  • Project Budget Management: Support the invoice and project budget tracking processes. Assist with the preparation of budget claims and track their progress. Complete financial reports when required. Liaise with the diocesan finance team to ensure that all project budget information is accurately recorded.
