We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Operations Coordinator to work closely with the Rector and other leaders in supporting the day-to-day life, ministry and mission of our church community. This varied role includes:
- Coordinating the practical rhythms of church life
- Maintaining the systems, communication and organisation that enable the life of the church to flourish
- Helping oversee our buildings, events and governance
- Supporting volunteers, ministry leaders and the wider life of the church
It would suit someone who enjoys helping people, systems and activities work well together and who is excited by the opportunity to contribute to the life of a thriving parish church in the heart of East London.
This is a permanent, flexible three-day-per-week role (21 hours), including some Sundays and occasional evenings as part of the normal rhythm of church life. There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
