Something wonderful is happening at St Augustine’s Ipswich. Over the last four years we have seen remarkable, sustained growth: more families, more young people, more people encountering Jesus for the first time. Our Sundays are fuller, our midweek ministries are busier, and our community hub is increasingly part of the life of our town.

As we approach our Centenary year, we are praying that we would reach more people with the gospel of Jesus than ever before, through invitation and participation, deeper encounter and discipleship, and ministries of compassion.

We are looking for an outstanding person to join us as our next Associate Vicar. We are seeking someone who is strongly gifted as both Bible teacher and evangelist, ideally who has a particular gift for reaching younger adults and families with children, and certainly who is well used to proving God in prayer.

This is because while the successful candidate will carry a share of the church’s leadership, preaching and pastoral duties with our Vicar Al, their overwhelming focus will be on multiplying mission and growing our church.

A vibrant Anglican church for Ipswich, part of the HTB Network of churches.
