Description of Job

Community Pastor

We are a Baptist Church in Buckinghamshire between High Wycombe and Amersham seeking to appoint a full-time Community Pastor to join our leadership team. At this stage in our development, we are sensing that our highest priority should be to reach out into our local community.

Being blessed with a number of church members who are gifted in leading services and preaching, we are now looking to set aside a leader who can focus on evangelism, serve our community, and help our neighbours to appreciate the love of God.

We have 70 to 80 people who join our Sunday or Wednesday congregations and over 50 who regularly follow our services streamed online.

Our part-time Families’ Worker has developed good links with local schools, and we run a thriving toddler group and a “Who Let the Dads Out?” initiative.

For details of the role and an outline of the person we are looking for, please follow this link: Click here.

Applications, including CV, should be sent to our Church Secretary Derek Brown at the above address or email: secretary@holmergreenbaptist.org.uk.
