Description of Job

This part-time position (3 days / 22.5 hours a week) comprises two separate roles.

  1. CAP Debt Centre Manager: 16 hours per week will be spent as a CAP (“Christians Against Poverty”) Debt Centre Manager. This will be structured as 4 sessions of 4 consecutive hours per week. CAP’s services are run in partnership with local churches to engage and support people in their communities. CAP Debt Centres provide practical and holistic support for people struggling with debt, as well as offering them the opportunity to hear the gospel. Your role will be to set up and manage the running of a West London Debt Centre in partnership with CAP and St Peter’s. You will support clients on their journey to becoming debt-free through home visits and ongoing support, all while positively reflecting the Christian faith and the core values of the charity.
  2. Outreach Worker: The remaining 6.5 hours would be an Outreach Worker role for St Peter’s. This flexible role will comprise a mix of events and initiatives determined by St Peter’s, suiting the gifts of the successful candidate.

The salary would be £28,000pa (pro-rata), so £16,800pa for this 3-day a week role.
